The space
Nestled on the hillside of one Jaco’s biggest attractions Villa Mariposa is a unique architectural gem. It’s unparalleled views of the entire coast and skyline of Jaco with picturesque sunsets every night are unreplicated anywhere else in the surrounding area. We are located at the foot of the mountain and our close proximity to the beach means you can hear the waves crashing from bed every morning.

There are no neighbors (so noise is no issue) but there are plenty of visits from wildlife. The toucans are known to fly right up to the bedroom windows and there are often monkey sightings directly from the infinity pool.

It was a successful bed and breakfast for many years and a sought after vacation rental. Now under new ownership, it now has been completely updated & renovated and has all the amenities and comforts of home. The kitchen has all brand new stainless appliances and is complemented by our custom 13ft. wood dining table which comfortably seats large groups. There is a fast Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), 75” flat screen w/ Netflix, waterfall, hot tub, pool table & brand new air conditioning units in all rooms.

The Miro Mountain hiking trail is an ecological gem. Photographers and nature lovers flock to this popular location which consists of a groomed trail that leads to abandoned ruins that have been decorated over the years with colorful art from international and local artists. On the path, it is common to encounter monkeys, toucans, macaws, frogs, iguanas and much more amazing nature.

The whole villa is yours and you have direct access to the hiking trail just outside your door

Other things to note
❗️All Rentals includes complimentary use of our golf cart pending the signature of our rental agreement and a standard deposit.

❗️We are at the very beginning of the hiking trail and the road entering the mountain is paved and 4 x 4 is not needed. There is designated parking but it can cumbersome if there are many vehicles so limit yourselves to 2 cars max

❗️Our villa is extremely safe and secure but due to the nature of bachelor events and guys trips they require personal security.
